We are delighted to have Nicola Godden here on Thursday October 3rd, to talk about her monumental ‘Icarus Rising’ sculpture on display, positioned over the path leading to the Willow Walk in the formal gardens.
The sculpture was eighteen months in the making, and stands at 5 metres high. Visitors are able to walk beneath it. Nicola will be talking through the inspiration behind the piece, and how it was made.
Talks at 11 am and 2 pm. Nicola’s talk is free, but you will need an entry ticket to the park.
