Our retreat begins with an invigorating SOMA Breathwork session. The SOMA Breath Energized Meditation Routine is a 1-hour long workshop combining movement, chanting and breathwork all guided with uplifting, music. It is designed to help participants become very efficient at using oxygen, and to build a tolerance to carbon dioxide.

 

Energized Meditation helps people to slow down their breathing to less than 10 breaths per minute, and encourages people to breathe through their nose more. The Energized Meditation Routine is designed to release tension from the body, boost your mood, and be a super-effective breathwork meditation.

Following the breathwork session, we will go straight into a sound bath incorporating different sound instruments including Himalayan Bowls, Gongs, Crystal Bowls, Koshi Chimes, Shamanic Drums, which have a unique ability to relax and calm the nervous system. This will bring your mind into the Alpha and Theta pattern, which is the restful and creative state.

 

As you lie comfortably, the resonant sounds will guide you into a meditative state, allowing you to let go of any remaining tension or stress. The healing frequencies will work to restore balance within your body, leaving you feeling refreshed and rejuvenated.
