With over 40 years’ experience in horticulture Philip brings a wide range skills and experience to our events on the propagation of ornamental plants.
Training at Cannington & qualified as a lecturer in horticulture he was a trainer, lecturer & assessor at Kingston Maurward College for 10 years.
Appointed Head Gardener to the Lord Lt of Somerset & the Millennium Garden at Pecorama in Beer; he now runs his own garden design, advisory & maintenance business near Bridport.
Philip embraces wildlife habitat development & is involved in mammal, plant & invertebrate surveys. He’s planted thousands of trees.
He is a trustee of “Word Forest.”
A charity planting fast growing trees, building schools & training women in permaculture in Kenya.
