Join us as we gather in our gorgeous retreat space and get cosy by the roaring fire. The session will begin with a short SOMA breathwork session to help us settle for an afternoon of relaxation where Tracey will guide you to rest deeply in the restorative practise of Yoga Nidra (Non sleep deep rest).
As we journey into the New Year you are invited to join us for an afternoon of self care. Yoga Nidra is sometimes referred to as yogic sleep or non-rest deep sleep. As you settle into the comfort of the props there is nothing to do but rest in the moment as you are guided in a soothing meditation. Together we will welcome new beginnings and set our Sankalpa or heartfelt intentions for the coming year.
This deeply restful practise allows tension to release, the mind to quiet and the nervous system to find balance and ease.
This practise prepares the body, mind and soul to receive the nourishing benefits of the sound bath. As we flow seamlessly into a gentle but powerful sound bath you will be taken on a sound journey which will incorporate different instruments including Himalayan Bowls, Wind Gongs, Crystal Bowls, Koshi Chimes, Shamanic Drums, which have a unique ability to relax and calm the nervous system. This is a truly restorative experience and you will leave feeling relaxed, rejuvenated and ready to embrace the New year.
This session will end with time in community to enjoy tea, delicious homemade cake or some quiet reflection amongst the beautiful grounds of the lakes.
We hope you can join us as we move into the New Year.
