Sculpture to See Before You Die, will delve deep into the diverse and fascinating world of sculpture, discussing what qualities and circumstances can set a piece of art apart, and exploring some of the best places to see impressive and life-changing works.
From some of the world’s most celebrated works, to iconic pieces, join Andrew as he takes you on a journey of discovery – then it will be up to you to decide which sculptures make it onto your bucket list!
About Andrew
Andrew has carved out an illustrious career within the art world, having been awarded the Art Journalist of the Year Award for three years in a row between 1987 and 1989. He is a member of the coveted Blue Plaques panel, an honour which sits among a multitude of other accolades and awards.
Over the past 30 years, he has written and presented numerous landmark series on art for the BBC and other independents, exploring a wide range of themes within visual arts and art history, from the art of different nations and different periods in history, to exploring the works of individual artists.
Andrew’s talk, Sculpture to See Before You Die, will be taking place in The Retreat at 11 am on Thursday 30th of March 2023, and tickets are £20 including entry to the Sculpture Park. Book early to avoid disappointment, tickets can be found here.
